We were incredibly fortunate to have met Ted through a friend. He and his team have an undeniable connection with the dogs they care for.

Our boy, @ziggythecream, has the best time with his hiking buddies; especially their slumber parties. You can see it in his face in all the fun photos and video they take during the day. We are so comfortable leaving Ziggy, knowing the care and attention he receives. Spoil your pup at Happy Tail, Happy Dog. Your dog deserves it knowing the care and attention he he receives, whether we drop him off for the day or for a week.

Luc has been lucky enough to have his walker Jackson three times a week for the past year.

Jackson is always consistent, loving and careful. In addition, Luc also loves the occasional overnight daycare. Ted sends a pics or videos everyday, engages and plays with the dogs, and even will have a birthday party for them. This company offers such a great service for Luc and myself.

We have used Happy Tail Happy Dog for the last four years and have been delighted!

We live in a high rise in downtown Denver with our two standard poodles. We typically ask for a 60 minute walk once per day, 7 days a week. Ted’s team has never once let us down! The team also has been able to accommodate us when we have needed extra walks, even with very little advance notice.

On top of this incredible record of reliability, Ted and his team are completely trustworthy. Our dogs are “our babies.” We trust Ryan, Jackson, and the rest of the team with them and with our home without any worry whatsoever, to the point that these wonderful folks are like members of the family.

We could not be more thrilled!

Ted has taken care of two different dogs for us over the years.

Each one loved daycare and we know they are well taken care of, safe and happy. And tired after a day of playing- yes! Our current chocolate lab runs to the front door expectantly wagging his tail if he hears Ted’s name. There aren’t enough stars to give HTHD a true rating!

Our golden retriever, Rona, has been hiking with Ted for about a year and a half and we are grateful every week for her adventures.

Ted and his team are kind and caring. We love knowing that our dog is getting quality time outside in an enriching environment with other dog friends, which has helped a lot with her socialization and recall. And we especially love all of the photo and video updates we receive throughout the day. We can’t recommend these hikes enough, they have been a game changer for our dog! I met and hired Ted Gualtier in 2016 when I moved to Denver with my female Border Collie, Scout.

I relocated into a high rise (which presents its own challenges with a dog) and I desperately needed someone who could help me care for my dog. Ted was the experienced dog handler I was searching for and he was always willing and able to adjust to my fluid work schedule. I lost Scout a few months after I moved and throughout that time Ted was reliable, compassionate, flexible and he consistently displayed great knowledge and patience with my challenging rescue dog.

Two years later I called Ted and told him I wanted to adopt another rescue but I could not do so without his help. Without missing a beat he said, “I’m in”. It has been seven years since I first met Ted and four years since my dog Radley entered into my life. Ted’s business has grown and his depth of experience has grown with it. Ryan, a HappyDogHappyTail employee is an excellent, experienced and incredibly reliable dog handler. I have depended on Ryan often to walk Radley. I have seen Ryan deal with many different kinds of dogs going in and out of my high rise and other city buildings and he does so seamlessly with great awareness and expertise. Ryan is highly devoted and compassionate to the dogs as well as to the clients. Julian, business partner of HappyTailHappyDog, is highly involved with the dog care as well and he has been a paramount part of Radley’s care. Julian is the only human that is able to wash and groom Radley. Radley, being a bit skittish as a rescue, will not let anyone comb, brush or bathe him except Julian which exemplifies Julian’s unique talent and devotion to the care and handling of dogs.

There is not other business or dog care facility that provides what HappyTailHappyDog can for your own pet. Every dog is treated and cared for like a family member and they provide a unique and one of a kind “home-like” environment. They have 24 hour care and supervision and every detail is taken care of from individual diet needs to medication, toys, beds and activity levels. Without Ted, Julian and Ryan, I would not have the privilege to have Radley in my life nor experience the joy he provides to me.

I just wanted to say a big “THANK YOU” to Ted and the awesome team, not only for their unbelievable services and expert advice, but for being among some of the nicest, most genuine people who’ve welcomed us to Denver.

They love our dogs as much as their own and it shows. As soon as I pack up for an overnight, mine begin to go crazy and then wait at the door. I truly believe that they know where they are going, and when they get there it’s gonna be a blast playing with their friends, both canine and human! Watching tails wagging and all the hugging, tell me all I need to know – they are with their pack! A special touch is when pictures and clips of our pups show up on my phone – such a great way to keep us connected when we are not together…..I’ve saved them all!

Happy Tail and Happy Dog have been my dog Joey’s care providers for over 3 years.

To say I have complete trust and confidence in their care is the least I can say. Furthermore, they have caught some problems with Joey that I missed and have saved problems from spreading. I can honestly say Joey loves them so very much and I am so happy to have them in Joey’s and my life. When he has play dates I get videos and it is so wonderful to see Joey playing and getting fresh air and making friends.

Our lives changes for the better almost seven years ago when we met Ted.

Ted and his home-based daycare service has been an invaluable part of our family. We love our dogs like our own children, and so does Ted. The excitement and joy that radiates from my pups when he pulls up clearly illustrates how well hes taken care of our babies for so many years. He has allowed us to vacation worry free, he’s provided extra hands when new babies have arrived and the dogs needed a little extra love, and he’s given our babies a backyard to run around in when we didnt have one to offer. Happy Tail Happy Dog is the only place I will ever “board” my dogs, and the only place they will happily run to!
